Planning an outdoor wedding reception in Phoenix? I’ve had the privilege of being a part of hundreds of couples’ love stories and walking the grounds of Arizona’s most beautiful venues for over 16 years, and I have to say, an outdoor wedding and reception just can’t be beat! I’ve put together a list of some of the BEST Phoenix and Scottsdale area venues for when you’re dreaming of a dinner party under the stars…

El Chorro

Paradise Valley Country Club

Country Club at DC Ranch

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale

The Paseo Venue

Encanterra

The Farm at South Mountain

1. El Chorro

If you’ve followed me for any amount of time you probably know the love I have for this historic restaurant that holds some of the most gorgeous wedding celebrations I’ve ever been a part of. With a view of Camelback Mountain and the natural desert from nearly every angle, the most beautifully manicured grounds, several ceremony and reception location options, and a staff that’s the best of the best, El Chorro could be the PERFECT setting for your outdoor wedding and reception under the stars!

2. Paradise Valley Country Club

Seated right at the foot of Camelback Mountain in dreamy Paradise Valley, Arizona, this quiet little club offers outdoor dining that’s about as classic and lovely as it gets. Throw in a white tent to up the Great Gatsby factor (it’s a thing, right?) and you’ve got a dinner party that is sure to be remembered. Bonus: that mountain backdrop is a total dream for your portraits!

3. The Country Club at DC Ranch

If there is somewhere a list of magical, twinkle lit courtyards, the one at The Country Club at DC Ranch has got to be at the top of the list. And if the courtyard alone isn’t enough to make you want to have your celebration here, it’s surrounded by gorgeous desert and mountains so you can get all the splendor of the desert as well!

4. The Four Seasons Scottsdale Resort

The name “Four Seasons” evokes a sense of luxury, beauty, and incomparable service for a reason, and our Scottsdale Four Seasons Resort does not disappoint. Set at the foot of Pinnacle Peak with several options for your reception location, the Four Seasons is a stunning setting for an outdoor reception!

5. The Paseo Venue

I think those Superstition Mountains say it all. The Paseo Venue provides a breathtaking view of some of the most gorgeous mountains in the Phoenix area, and offers the convenience and customizability of a venue whose focus is solely weddings. And my favorite…in the spring the surrounding desert is COVERED in yellow blooms. The best!

6. Encanterra

Encanterra’s outdoor reception locations offer gorgeous lake and mountain views, green manicured grounds, and the perfect view of the sunset. I’ve been loving the look and feel of the outdoor celebrations they’ve been putting on!

7. The Farm at South Mountain

This charming 10 acre property, complete with pecan grove and multiple gardens, is a truly unique for Phoenix setting for an outdoor wedding. With multiple ceremony and reception sites, a view of South Mountain, and perpetually beautiful light, The Farm is one of my favorite venues for both a ceremony and a dinner under the stars!
